Yesterday, we started our first units in science. The grade 3 students will be investigating the properties of soil, uses for soil, as well as the human impact on soil. The grade 4 students will be looking at Rocks and Minerals, their properties, how they can be classified and how we use them. Finally, the grade 5 students will be looking at types of energy, where it comes from and what we can do to conserve it.
